Swedish Meatballs with Sauce
Meatball Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground pork
4 tablespoons bread crumbs
3 tablespoons finely chopped onions
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
To Prepare:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
2. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Shape into small meatballs and arrange on a baking sheet.
3. Bake of 15 minutes (makes about 40 small meatballs).
Sauce:
Sauce Ingredients:
2 can condensed cream of chicken soup
2/3 cup milk
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 cup dairy sour cream
Heat over medium stove. Will be thick initially but do not add anything to it as it will thin as it cooks.
Mix sauce and meatballs together and simmer a bit before serving.
